Take the Survey: State of AI Adoption in GTM
Let's get statistically significant data on adoption, use cases & business impact
Over the last month, I’ve published three cornerstone AI blogs detailing my qualitative research on AI in B2B Marketing:
- Marketing's AI Frontier: What 50 Tech CMOs Revealed: 8 Key Trends on What's Working, What's Changing, and What's Next
- 2025 State of AI in B2B Marketing Scorecard: Which marketing functions are seeing the most adoption and transformation?
- The CXO Guide to Building an AI-Forward Team
But statistically significant data we can slice and dice is even better! So I’m thrilled that one of my favorite people, Ray Rike of Benchmarkit, is conducting research on the State of AI adoption across Go-to-Market organizations, including Marketing, Direct Sales, Sales Development, and Customer Success in partnership with Scale Venture Partners.
We need survey responses! Will you help?

The goal is to surface the maturity and business impact of AI adoption across GTM, including:
Adoption rate of AI across each GTM function
Most common use cases for AI across GTM functions
The business impact of AI adoption in each GTM function
The survey asks only relevant questions for the function(s) you lead so it should be short and sweet.
Let’s see data on the details of AI adoption versus the hype of vendors and early innovators. Will it support my recent qualitative research on AI in Marketing? Or will it bring insights. I can’t wait to see.

You might remember Ray Rike of BenchmarkIt from the marketing budget research we did together, along with Jon Miller and Bill Macitis earlier this year:
- The Ultimate Marketing Benchmark: Budget Insights from 200 CMOs
- The Marketing Efficiency & Attribution Playbook: What Today’s CMOs Are Tracking
- How to Divide Sales and Marketing Budget in B2B: Benchmarks and Insights

Ray and BenchmarkIt are fantastic to work with and make great materials to help companies share authentic, insightful thought leadership. Please take the survey today and consider him in the future if you’re running some of your own.
Carilu Dietrich is a former CMO, most notably the head of marketing who took Atlassian public. She currently advises CEOs and CMOs of high-growth tech companies. Carilu helps leaders operationalize the chaos of scale, see around corners, and improve marketing and company performance.
Getting enough data to have statistical significance can be hard - but every B2B SaaS executive and investor wants to know how they "measure up" to their like company cohort. Great article, great cause and hopefully "GREAT INSIGHTS" will be the result!!!
Thanks for supporting the mission Carilu!!!
