While on a student exchange trip to Paris, I chose to intern 16 hrs/week alongside taking up the maximum number of courses the university would allow me to. My mom is still upset that I didn't go see the Eiffel tower once haha. My economist professor who taught the science of happiness class said people get happiness out of two things: their leisure ethic and their work ethic. And apparently, I got all of my joy out of my work ethic do leisure never got a chance.

Is this post reassuring? Yes.

Am I less worried? Nope.

Haha! Totally. And the funny part with me is that I would really ENJOY that as well. I have to actively teach myself a leisure ethic. I even get achievement oriented at leisure. I guess some of us have different lessons than others. You'll just have to take your mom back to the Eiffel tower and see it with her! Check it back off the list :)

Haha! I'll ask her — I wonder how she'll react.

Agree to the rest! Well, I hope that someday I can be as successful as you are if I'm going to make all leisure sacrifices. Would be pretty disappointing if it doesn't happen haha!
