Capturing the CEO's vision, voice, and sayings has always been a quintessential challenge, but one that’s often critical for the most important things flowing through marketing and company communications. Comms teams spend endless hours on quotes, briefing sheets, press answers, keynotes, and company emails. The best marketers have mind-melded with the CEO, listening to everything they have said and written, and hold a coveted place in the hierarchy. Now we might not need to take as much time to get there - we just make a CEO GPT.
The AntonGPT we created at Lovable has quickly become my favorite AI hack. While not the most complex AI orchestration or use case, it’s immediately impactful and awesome. After trying to capture the CEO of Lovable’s voice after just a few months working with him, I decided we needed an AntonGPT. I mentioned the idea, and before I could get to it, the amazing
spun it up.Within a day, I was creating better quotes for Anton than I ever could have myself, writing press briefings for him with the elements he’s used and loved best, and had a tool we can train over time as Lovable evolves its message and vision toward the future.
Lazar fed it podcast and YouTube transcripts, plus Anton’s X and Linkeidn posts, and several briefing sheets we’d created for launches.
For capturing the X and LinkedIn posts, Lazar used a few actors in Apify to scrape Anton’s profiles and posts, cleaned them up in Cursor, and saved them as markdown. For the podcasts, he exported transcripts from YouTube videos and cleaned up the data to include only answers from Anton.
Of course, we’ll have to update it over time to capture our evolution talking to new audiences, including new customer stories, vision, and proof points, but it seems pretty quick and easy to do so.
Quick win for your CEO and especially your comms team here. Make your CEOGPT now if you haven’t already - you won’t regret it.
Let me know how it turns out for you - or if you've already created one, what else you’ve learned
And one takeaway on Anton’s approach to hypergrowth leadership, from the mouth of AntonGPT itself
Carilu Dietrich is a former CMO, most notably the head of marketing who took Atlassian public. She currently advises CEOs and CMOs of high-growth tech companies. Carilu helps leaders operationalize the chaos of scale, see around corners, and improve marketing and company performance.
I love the idea. I think custom GPTs are an under-rated aspect to ChatGPT that more people should be using. I created one for writing case studies that has dramatically sped up the process. Once you write a few case studies by hand, the pattern and structure can be easily replicated while maintaining the company's voice, style and key messaging points.
Have your CEO spend 10 mins every week rating the AI's outputs. That feedback loop is what separates the good CEO bots from the scary accurate ones.
